Good morning! It feels great to look at the scale and see a big (or little) number again. 1.8lbs dropped yesterday.Yesterday’s Menu Breakfast: 1 Large mug Bigelow Mint Medley tea w/ 10 drops Stevia Lunch: Mixed Spring greens salad w/ Chicken, strawberries, Strawberry Basil Vinaigrette & 1 Grissini Dinner: Garlic Lemon Shrimp w/ Scallions, 1 Orange & 1 Grissini 4+ liters of water
I guess it really does have a lot to do with the routine of the week and making sure I take my HCG on time. I suppose being more active also has something to do with it… and I also do think that my veggie portions were a bit out of whack over the weekend. I need to get back to the portion sizes that seem right to me instead of trying to measure what looks like the appropriate amount for the calories I’m “supposed” to consume. This is all about learning what my body needs in my opinion and if my body only wants 1/2c of veg instead of 1c I’m not going to force it. I’ll be heading to a friend’s house for dinner tonight so, I cooked ahead and will be bringing my food with me to her place. It feels good to be in control of my eating once again. 🙂
Oh… and the Strawberry Basil Vinaigrette was AMAZING!! I’ll be posting the recipe w/ modifications shortly.
