About mindyp679

This is a log of my weight loss journey on HCG. I started this journey the heaviest I’ve ever been… so much so that my weight wouldn’t even register on a Weight Watchers scale. After my 2 days of loading I hit a high of 335.8lbs. I have more than 160lbs to lose to reach my goal and it will be a long time coming. Please feel free to offer encouragement and tips to help me stay motivated as I lose my way to 175! I hope this page will serve as an encouragement to others who are also on their own weight loss journey. God Bless you in your endeavors!

    • Thanks Jen. I was pretty shocked at how much changed in such a short round (23 VLCD days). The crazy part is that all but 2lbs of it was in the first 16 days of VLCD. It was pretty incredible and I’m also looking forward to future rounds myself. Can’t wait to see how maintenance goes and I’m excited about learning new ways to enjoy old favorites! 🙂 I’ll keep posting.

      • This is my second round and I have seen the same thing. Long rounds are just discouraging because most of the weight comes off in the first two weeks. I’d rather do an extra round but shorter rounds than fewer longer rounds. Just my thoughts.

      • I may end up doing the same thing. Especially if my body reacts the same way it did the first time. I guess my thing is that I’m going to listen to what my body is telling me. If I start to feel badly and my losses stall I don’t see the point in carrying on just because protocol says I should go 40 days. I’m hoping that my losses go on a little longer next time but, I’ll be perfectly happy with another 27lbs. I like P3 & P4 eating better anyways! 😉
